Fluidized Bed Combustion to Convert Waste Plastic and Specialty Wastes to Renewable Clean Energy, with Full Carbon Capture and Utilization
Charbon Zero Corp™ (CZC™) was formed to Convert Non-Recyclable Waste Plastic and Specialty Wastes to Renewable Clean Energy, without CO2 or other Greenhouse Gas Emissions:
• Generate Renewable Clean Energy
• Generate Valuable Residual Products
• Protect Human and Environmental Health
• Eliminate Pollution from Non-Recyclable Wastes
• Provide a Clean Technology to Mitigate Climate Crisis
• Provide Renewable Clean Energy to Unfulfilled Markets
• Provide an Autonomous Energy Resource to assure Grid Resilience
Charbon Zero Corp™ seeks investment capital of about US $110 Million to construct and operate an initial Non-Recyclable Waste-to-Renewable-Clean-Energy Facility to demonstrate commercialization of a Renewable Clean Energy alternative to Gasification, Pyrolysis, Repurposing, Upcycling, Downcycling, Recycling, Incineration, Land Disposal or Water Disposal of polluting wastes. The outcome is anticipated to assure a growing market for new plastics, while curbing the global challenges of Waste Pollution and the adverse human and environmental health consequences thereof.
The US produced more than 320 million tons of plastic to date, which is expected to double by 2034. As well, the US is the second largest global consumer of plastic alone, and generates nearly 50 million tons of Waste Plastic per year, yielding more Waste Plastic than any other country, with less than 10% sent to recycling or other repurposing. The production and use of plastic represent the single greatest source of global pollution, an unsustainable Human and Environmental Health Crisis.
About 99% of plastic feedstocks originate as fossil hydrocarbons, with more than $260 Billion invested in natural gas operations to convert ethane from natural gas to plastic feedstocks. Global demand for plastic is expected to triple by 2050, with a parallel increase is waste plastic materials.
Charbon Zero Corp™ will develop a first Non-Recyclable Waste Plastic and Specialty Waste to Renewable Clean Energy facility in Washington State to fulfill local demand and provide a renewable form of Carbon-Free Clean Energy to supplement Hydro, Geothermal, Wind, Solar and other non-fossil fuel sources. Additional facilities will be built in response to growing and unfulfilled needs. Fluidized Bed Combustion of Non-Recyclable Waste Plastic and Specialty Waste to provide Renewable Clean Energy offers a sustainable and beneficial economic, public health and environmental health solution.
The required technology, engineering, expertise, permitting, land and capabilities have been identified.
Charbon Zero Corp™has established relationships with local Public Utility Districts that have ready customers for all renewable clean energy produced, and that are prepared to install the power infrastructure. The Fluidized Bed Reactor Technology and Engineering await only financing, project planning, permitting and on-site development to become operational. As well, the Full Carbon Capture and Utilization (FCCU) engineering resources have been identified, which will render all carbon wastes as a Zero or Negative Emissions Energy Source. The Renewable Clean Energy product, plus the residual ash and flue gas products are well within compliance requirements, and there are no polluting waste waters. CZC™ projects that its planned Renewable Clean Energy concept and facility will become a standard for the management of Point Source Pollution, with broad industry applications.
